| | | white flower ID Sorry, no photo yet, but any help much appreciated
- growing in an urban car park in a grate type thing with red deadnettle etc
- started flowering at the beginning of march
- small white flowers; four petals
- basal rosette of leaves and alternate leaves on the stem
- all leaves and the stem are covered in fine hairs
- grows to about <10cm
my first thought was thale-cress but the flowering time is slightly out. I'll try and get a photo sometime...

my first thought was thale-cress but the flowering time is slightly out. I'll try and get a photo sometime...  | Well If You're stumped then I hesitate to guess! But a cress sounds right, leaves have no leaflets though? The bittercresses flower quite early I'm thinking. |

Sorry for not mentioning that... | BUT the leaves of shepherd's purse are very variable and having got a leaf sample today and worked it through the Vegetative Key I can confirm it is shepherd's-purse  so sorry dave, you were right!  i'm out of practise..
