However, I went up to Chanonry Point on the Black Isle coast looking for Dolphins today, and I saw Gorse and Red Dead-nettles in flower.  The Red Dead-nettles were a bit frosted, but flowering.
I also saw some Dolphins. |

Down here we are now seeing carpets of flowers, i.e. Snowdrops, Daffodils and Celandines, rather than brave individuals that soon perish!
Lots of Heather around too, in all colours. |
