unknown pink/orange fruiting bodies(?) for ID

I found some plants with these things on, and I'd be very grateful if someone could tell me what they are.

Also dig the cool fingerless gloves

They're from Spindle - Euonymus europaeus

I haven't been on the flowers forum for ages!

It's Spindle, Euonymus europaeus. The pink is the fruit and the orange is the seed.

It's quite a colour clash isn't it.
Here's a useless fact for you, the tree's name is spindle coz it 's used to make spindles from, the soft and creamy wood can be carved to create a smooth surface that wool won't get caught on.
No I don't know which was named first, the tree or the spindle?!
