Noticed as I fed the birds today that my crocuses are up already. I live on the outskirts of Birmingham. Wondering if anyone else has noticed early sprouting plants?

Yes - my new Tulips in pots on the patio were showing little green shoots the other day. I told them to go back as they won't like it when the weather turns colder!

It's elephant's ears - can't remember the 'proper' name, starts with a Brug...something or other.
Lots of bulbs start coming up this time of the year - it is the middle of December after all...we have our bluebells shooting up (but they always do at this time of year) I think you just notice them more when everything else is looking dead... |
