| | | grass(i think) for id please This grass was left visable after some severe hedge trimming.It was hidden in brambles.Quite a robust collumn with some parrallel leaves.around 24inches tall |

| | | Re: grass(i think) for id please thanks treecreeper,i had doubts it was a grass  .This specimen although fairly robust looks less so than the photos ive just looked at of common rush and the leaves (if thats the right phrase look different),but could be where it was hidden in shrubbery and not getting full growth i guess.
