I'm a bit confused about this Conium: 
It grows on chalk arable land in late july all the way through til the end of september/early october. It is very low growing. I searched the latin name for 'poison hemlock' and it came up with Conium maculatum, but both my books says that is 'Hemlock' that flowers june-july and grows to 2m.
So, is this Conium maculatum or something else or a subspecies or something?!  
say if you need a leaf
