[ID] 2x Wild-found seeds please!

Hi all,

Two very commonly-found seeds for identification, please!

Both 2009

First seems to hang on to things on a cotton string...
...the other is also 2-4mm total length.

Any help on these appreciated!

RH photo looks like an elm, Ulmus sp. to me.

Any takers for the left-hand seed? Not sure if maybe it's a Herb Robert one? There's an abundance of that nearby.
