| | | Elm for ID I'm hoping someone might be able to help me out with this Elm; I suppose it could just be Wych Elm ( Ulmus glabra), but something about it just struck me as different.
I was thinking maybe it could be one of the hybrids ( U. x hollandica or U. x vegeta) but I can't find any useful guides to identifying them

| | | Re: Elm for ID You can learn a lot about elms and keep your sanity if you have a read of 'Identification of British Elms' by Max Coleman, BSBI Referee for Elms. It is really informative and includes a key, illustrations and descriptions. Originally published in 'British Wildlife' in 2002. Send me your e-mail address and I will send it to you as an attachment. Now is a good time to look at your local elms.
