I have just found an area where this is growing in large areas, and I am sure its Golden Rod but I am not sure which one , any ideas??

| | | Re: Golden Rod but which one??? it is a Ragwort of sorts, though not one I am familiar with. I would suggest Broad-leaved Ragwort (Senecio fluviatilis), though it is possibly Wood Ragwort (Senecio ovatus) |

I agree with Tiggrx, I think it is S.fluviatilis although it is not a plant I see very often in the SE thank goodness. S.ovatus usually has more showy flowers.
