I've taken on a long-term project at a local community farm. I'll be building a bower and bench as a quiet area in an orchard. The farm has Soil Association organic status.
It would be nice to encourage some local wild flowers to grow there, in particular the Mallows which grow abundantly round here in a variety of colours from white, to pink, to purples and cornflower blues. We're very keen on only having local species so we don't want to just chuck a load of mixed wild flower seeds out and hope for the best.
If anyone here could help me with some ideas about how to get seeds, either by buying them or collecting, and how to get the whole thing going, I'd be very grateful. It must be said that I don't know much about wild flowers
