| | | Flowers for i.d. This flower was very tall. Second picture shows same plant behind some ferns. 
This flower was in a meadow and the edge of the woods. There were lots of them and they were very popular with the butterflies.
The last picture is a garden plant. I have no idea what it is. |

| | | Re: Flowers for i.d. No. 3 is Houttuynia cordata, usually known as Chameleon Plant. I've found it once as an escape in Bristol, but it's not listed on the BSBI database nor is it in Alien Plants of the British Isles.
Apparently it spreads very easily from the tiniest piece of discarded root, and is becoming more popular in gardens as an attractive ground-cover plant. |

It does take over and spreads like bindweed. I had an awful job getting rid of it. What I have now is kept in a pot as it is very colourful.
