I found this today growing next to a road. Is it Goats Rue? 
Sorry about the bad photo. I didn't have my good camera.
Also is this Marjoram or Large Thyme?  |

Def. Goat's-rue; bit of a pest around my parts.
You haven't shown much on the other-leaves, stem, etc, but loks like a Marjoram head to me. |

I've only ever seen one very tatty plant on a road verge at the Avon Gorge, a bird-seed alien I presumed. Certainly nothing like the spectacular show you've found  |

Head over to Kent there's plenty there. Go to Cliffe and see some interesting clovers and brownfield species at the same time!!! | | |
