| | | Is Papaver summer breeze orange correct ID? Oh I know, I know, it's me again, :-/
So, I've worked out that these might be Papaver x "Summer Breeze Orange", based on what this website says: Estabrook's - Gardening Catalog - Perennials - Papaver (Poppy) (you have to scroll to the bottom of the list).
Do you agree with this? If it is right, can I ask what the species is? I've seen it (on the web) as croceum or as nudicaule. I don't really understand hybrids, :-/
Any help is very much appreciated! Thanks, :-) |

| | | Re: Is Papaver summer breeze orange correct ID? It is 1 of the so-called Iceland Poppies- which are actually from northern/central Asia. Papaver nudicaule is one of the species, but most in cultivation, often sold under this name are in fact hybrids with this + other closely related species such as P. radicatum. |
