| | | Unidentified flower Can anyone help with this unidentified flower which has recently sprung up at Top O'th Slate in Haslingden. I just cannot find it in any of my references. It is within a area which two years ago was reclaimed and although wild flowers would be expected to be seen, maybe a garden escape has got in or something. I would be very grateful for any help with identification. Thank you. |

| | | Re: Unidentified flower It is a white form of one of the species of Jacob's-ladder (Polemonium) - most likely a garden escape. |

| | | Re: Unidentified flower Thank you Tiggrx. Now youve identified, it also looks like that to me also. Up until about 5 years ago we did have the native growing within 50 yards, but this was buried over with land reclamation re structure etc.
