| | | Autumn Fruits Having had to take a day off work yesterday, I went for a little walk in the afternoon and was struck by the number and variety of fruits on the edge of a wood. I took the attached in a 15 yard stretch - there were Blackthorn bushes in that stretch, but not fruiting, though there were some fine Sloes further along. A beautiful sunny afternoon - glad it was yesterday I had to take off, not today which is wet and grey. Don't mind getting some rain but it makes going for a walk looking at wildlife less pleasant.
