A couple of Mulleina

I'd be grateful for some help in identifying these mulleins (Verbascum sp.); No. 1 was growing on urban wasteland, and No. 2 was on the sandy soil of the Norfolk breckland but in an area with several garden escapes, so obviously used for dumping garden rubbish.
