| | | request to identify wild plants hello
recently took a number of photographs of wild and agricultural plants without any idea what they were. have posted these to my website and would be grateful for help with identification.
12 images in a Gallery here: wild & agricultural plants gallery - photographs by nick watson - shimmery timbers 42-00
identification of any plants in any pictures welcome. please give page number (top right corner of each page) if possible. |

| | | Re: request to identify wild plants it's not that easy to see from a general shot but
page 2 seems to show Meadow Buttercup - Ranunculus acris, with amongst others, Pignut Conopodium majus (but don't quote me on this!)
page 6 is Red Campion / Russian Comfrey - Silene dioica / Symphytum x uplandicum
page 8 is Borage - Borago officinalis
page 9 is Corn Poppy - Papaver rhoeas in a rape-field; Hedge Mustard - Sisymbrium officinale may also be present
page 10 shows hybrid Red and White Campion - I assume you know the nettle . . .
page 11 is White Clover - Trifolium repens with Red Fescue - Festuca rubra
page 12 shows hybrid Red and White Campion again . . .
cheers
Chris
