All found on calcareous grassland...
1 I think this is common broomrape but the purple veined flowers and swollen top, orangy colour and very thick stem (1.5cm) made me think it could possibly be knapweed broomrape? The host plant seemed to be ribwort plantain..    
2 a grass....very tall (1m) with these long thin heads....reminded me of a foxtail but it seemed too long and thin...

Common Broomrape, you can't mistake Knapweed Broomrape it is much bigger and almost always associated with Greater Knapweed

The grass looks like Blackgrass (Alopecurus myosuroides) |
