Unknown small flower for ID

I thought this may be clover but it looked to big, after looking at the image I don't know what it is. Can anyone help.

I'm not entirely sure. It looks like the flowers of Alsike Clover but the sepals are too sharp. Was it in a garden or a wild environment?

Hi KT, it was in a wild bit of open ground, beside where I found the Marsh Orchids, though its anything but marsh, quite dry in fact. The overall size of the complete flower head is about the size of a 5p and is next to the ground if that helps.

I would guess that it is an odd form of White Clover
