Is it too early for Bee Orchid to flower? Seems mid-June is the best time, anyone found one in flower yet? |

They are usually later up here in the North. usually second week in June. My fellow plant hunter Leifus who is on holiday in Purbeck and Wales has found a few spikes, so I would recommend looking if you are in the South.  |

The ones I know of on the New Forest were not far off but have been nibbled by the Ponies. |

They aren't out in the usual spots where I go yet.....but shouldn't be too long now! I have a few people desperate to see them, so I'll probably arrange a walk to incorporate the best areas.

Did not see any sign of them at Berry Head in Devon last weekend but when I lived in Sussex we always found them at there best on My Dad's Birthday 6th June
