| | | Blue comfrey? This comfrey, growing on waste ground by a river (though not especially damp), is probably just a variant of Russian Comfrey ( Symphytum x uplandicum) - except I've never seen one in this shade of blue before?
Any ideas? Is there anything else it could possibly be? |

He lists its distribution as West Kent, Surrey, Salop, East Lothian and Guernsey. I'll look out for it on my occasional expeditions to Shropshire. |

It doesn't look anything like the plant I've posted here - I guess this one must just be Russian Comfrey in a colour-form I'm unfamiliar with |
