| | | Does anyone recognise this? Hi I have a photo of a tall, straight large leaved plant with little bell like white and pink flowers,I cant recall how I send a pic here,so im describing it!.
I found it next to a brook and it was raining when I saw about 4 bumblebees on it,so bees seem to love it,I would love to know what this is???
I will try and send a pic!
Thank you |

Thank you so much again*

Be careful if introducing into the garden - they can take over a lot of space. |

It's not a native British wildflower, but is a widely naturalised plant! It's known as a neophyte- a plant that's established since the arbritary date of 1500! |

| | | Re: Does anyone recognise this? It is a nice plant but i was reading it can cause liver damage, and I have pets so cant risk anything poisonous or bad for them in anyway.
I can see why it spreads as there was lots of it in that one area!.
Its maybe not a good idea, I only have a small garden and its for a flowerbed area with a pond, so not enough room, I also dont want the risk my cat would nibble it!.
I thought the Pasque flower was beautiful and almost bought it,but sadly found out its toxic too.
Everytime I find something bees like,it seems its harmful to other animals,I loved the idea of Foxglove as it acts as shelter for bees when it rains, but of course thats a danger for my pets too, and I looked everywhere for a tubular like flower to give similar effect, non toxic, nearest I could find was trumpet vine, beautiful, but I think perhaps too invasive!.
I definately want to get
Flowering Current
Purple Loosestrife
Hemp Agrimony
HoneySuckle
I already have
California Lilac
Berbaris Darwinii
Hebe
Are any of these lists I mentioned toxic?
