What are these ?
Found these lying across the stems of a few plants in a bank of shrubs on a bridal path. it measures about 30 - 40 mm in length. is it seeds of something. I hav'nt a clue what they are . not even sure if they are plant related

They look like the expended flowers of a tree. They could be catkins or something off a Willow
