| | | Help with ID .. Found a number of these growing with buttercups and grasses within a large park also on scrub land..could it be a possible Vetch..?

| | | Re: Help with ID .. Thats a terrifc ID HW - I looked up what it might be in CTW and they have Vicia Faba and then V. Narbonensis which seems to fit for colouration - ''an erect annual with purplish fls, tendrils on the upper lvs only and a pod 5 - 6 cms - occurs as a casual and persists in some localities, similar but smaller than V faba, (which is the cultivated one and persists at field margins).''
Broad bean or horse bean is the common name used.
