| | | What flower is this (bulb) please? This has just cropped up in my garden this year, and I thought it looked a bit like wild garlic, but the flowers seem a bit different.
Can anybody identify please?
Thanks. |

It's Three Cornered Garlic (Some people call it Three Cornered Leek) - Allium triquetrum.
Regards
Mike. |

| | Re: What flower is this (bulb) please? Lol - yes I have read about it being invasive, but it's under a tree where nothing much else grows, and I will probably eat a lot of the bulbs once the leaves have started to die down ... and I will be eating them too (in fact, I am planning a nice omlette tonight with chive flowers and the three cornered garlic leaf and flower!). I am chuffed I have in the garden - I will just have to eat lots of it to keep it manageable!
It is also next to my rocket bed, and I am hoping it will keep away some of the bugs that normally lay their eggs later in the summer.
Thanks.
