I'd be very gratefull if someone could give me a clue on this plants ID,
growing on roadside against hedge, may well be a garden escapee, with an
ID i may get some clues as to the rust fungi visible on underside of leaves.

| | | Re: Plant for ID Welcome to the realm of the flowers JP.  Indeed you do have a mallow but its hard to ID without the photo. Theres loads of garden versions to confuse things as well |

| | | Re: Plant for ID Looks like Common Mallow, Malva sylvestris. The rust should be Puccinia malvacearum on this group of plants- affects Hollyhocks quite badly too! |
