| | Lizard Point this weekend - Quick responses I'm off to the Lizard point hopefully later today, for the weekend.
Can anyone give me an idea of what's likely to be about, plant/insect wise. And and particular locations to try. I've not been there for many years but I gather there is a lot of special stuff there.
Thanks in advance.

| | | Re: Lizard Point this weekend - Quick responses I would walk from Kynance Cove to The Lizard point, stunning walk and full of flowers.
Check out the beautiful serpentine at Kynance Cove on the way, easily the most fantastic stretch of coastline in Cornwall.
Have a great weekend, the weather looks good.

I was already on the road when they came in, but I did manage to get most of them, didn't make St.Ives though.
Spring Squill was all over the place on short clifftop turf, saw all of the others and a lot more too.
Didn't get to do Kynance Cove to The Lizard point, (I did visit Kynance), though I did walk from west of Lizard village round to Church Cove. That Southern most coast looked like something from another country (which it was... Hottentot Fig, Purple Dewplant, Whistling Jack etc )
I'll post some pics when I get organised.
p.s. Also saw my first Dragonfly, think it was a four-spot chaser but it didn't hang around in the wind.
