Yes, I agree. Toothwort looks much more like teeth.

Check this pic of Knapweed Broomrape.

No blue on this.

I've never seen the Knapweed broomrape: it's very attractive.
I was going on notes I made in my flora some years ago for the toothwort I found in a hazel copse.
