Medicago Minima?

I originally had this down as Medicago minima but I don't think it occurs in Britain.

This was a very miniscule plant - smaller than lesser trefoil. If its not M. minima then could it be M. polymorpha (toothed medick)?

M. minima does grow in Britain but I'm sure this isn't it. For one thing it has flowerheads with 1-5 flowers while your plant has 11 or more. Not M. polymorpha either (up to 8 flowers and tattered stipules).

It looks to me like it is probably Trifolium dubium which can be very small.
