| | | Cordyline (BLACK)???? Hello all,
Has anyone ever seen or heard of a type of Cordyline that is coloured BLACK!? It is exactly the same as a normal RED or GREEN Cordyline but BLACK. My friend at work wants one for his decking area at home and I couldn't find one in 6 different Garden Centers. There are some strange Cordyline looking plants around but not what I am looking for.
Before anyone says there's no such thing I have actually seen one (the 1st ever) outside of our local Pizza Hut and they look fantastic mixed with Green/Red ones.
Please help! where can I buy one from?

| | | Re: Cordyline (BLACK)???? There's several with darker leaves - one is called Cordyline australis 'Dark Star' which has purple/black leaves but can't tell you where to buy one - sorry - Might be worth looking for nurseries that specialise in them on line if it is difficult to find them in the Garden Centres. |

| | | Re: Cordyline (BLACK)???? Dark Star is similar but this plant a actually, strangely Black. I must admit when my mate told me I didn't believe him or thought he got mistaken for the one you've just mentioned but I've seen it today and it is Black.
I'll tell you what am going to take a picture of it and then maybe we can find out what it is! I will try and do it today, but if not on Thursday when am off work. |

Any advice | They are too big you need to resize before you upload... |

I reckon this Black plant might be some sort of catus related species? | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
