I don't think black Phormium is the one as I was in a garden centre earlier this week and I spotted one. I'm not counting it out because the black Phormium wasn't very well looked after and looked a bit poor in condition so we will c.
Hedera, I don't think I'm going to go inside Pizza Hut and ask to see the Manager and ask for the Landscape company who put those plants in. God I can't believe am so obsessed with finding out what this plant is. I'll tell you what if my wife agrees to go to pizza hut with me some time this summer I will maybe ask where the plant is from because I want it on my patio. MAYBE!

I found a rather fetching black grass.

If you plant it in the garden it is very difficult to get through the winter, unlike the parent species. Be warned
