1) looks like a blossom of some sort
2) cowslip

4) the seedhead of last years carline thistle
5) green alkanette

Peter, posting just a close-up of an individual flower can be tricky to ID even when we're very familiar with the plant. Always useful to show the general form of the plant, leaves + if availble a fruit too for some groups. Makes ID a lot easier.
