Where can I find yellow rattle? S.Wales

I'd like to see some yellow rattle in South Wales, I'll also be able to gather some seeds when it's ready to collect. Don't know where to go, can you help?

Assuming you mean Rhinanthus minor, it's quite a common plant of mature sand dunes and I recall seeing quite a lot at Kenfig, on the south Wales coast.

It's a midsummer plant, though, so you'll be a bit early at the moment

If you've got any unimproved meadow that will definitely have yellow rattle. It might also be worth looking at any recently constructed road embankments. After the A55 in North Wales was improved the new embankments were absolutely carpetted with yellow rattle...and cowslips...I also found some yellow vetchling (lathyrus aphaca) which merited a mention in the Flintshire Flora. New embankments are worth looking at!
