Yes, you need one from a bit further back, but from the looks of that it's almost certainly a Michaelmas-daisy. Probably Common Michaelmas-daisy, Aster x salignus. |

Don't think this is A. x salignus. Looks like one of the superior garden Aster species/cultivars; maybe A. amellus. |

Unfortunately it doesn't help that much, because it still doesn't show any detail of the foliage
The flowers of Common Michaelmas-daisy, Aster x salignus, tend to be paler than this one, though - it's definitely a michaelmas-daisy sp., but I'm still not sure which one | | | |
