| | | Unidentified wild plant Hi there,
Am hoping someone can help me. I'm new to identifying wild plants but will have to do so in my dissertation. I came accross quite a few plants on the sand dunes at Formby that I cant identify. They are not typical sand dune plants though as the area has been disturbed and has had other nutrients added so some plants growng there are typical of disturbed ground. Was hoping I would be able to attach some photos but apparantly I cant do that??? Weird! Anyway there is a creeping plant, quite brightish green, kinda looks like the tops of carrots!!! There was no flowers on it. They come off the stem in pairs (one at each side). Each leaf is then sort of sectioned into 5 lobes (?) and each section looks like it has been cut into 3. Difficult to explain without the use of a photo really. Anyway would really appreciate any suggestions as cant find it in the plant guide I have. Thanks |

....to say nothing of the natterjack toads and green lizards....
