Thrift
I came across this Thrift yesterday, as a garden escape at the base of a wall, and I'm struggling to put a name to it.



I think it could be Armeria pseudoarmeria, Estoril Thrift, a Southern European species grown in gardens which apparently flowers quite a bit earlier than our native Armeria maritima. But the pictures available online (such as this one) aren't great, so I'd welcome a second opinion

It doesn't look much like Armeria pseudarmeria to me. I would think it is a dwarf form of A. maritima.
