Thanks for all the IDs David. I can finally do a full plant list of my garden.

Any thoughts on these 2:
1) A Hedera sp which is really slow growing. I've never seen it flower yet.

2) Not sure on this tree

I've found a few ivies similar to No. 1 before; from what I've managed to find out, they're all cultivars of Hedera helix. Persian Ivy, Hedera colchica, tends to have larger leaves and also seems to spread more over the ground.

I'm not great on conifers () but with trees like No. 2 I always start with Lawson Cypress (Chamaecyparis lawsoniana) and work from there The other frequent species seems to be Nootka Cypress, C. nootkatensis; I haven't found one yet, but it's supposed to have an unpleasant scent when the foliage is crushed (Lawson Cypress smells kind of resin-y)

I checked the leaves and they smelled resiny so Lawson's Cypress it is thanks David
