pink flowers

hi all, i took this photograph whilst out walking this morning and was wondering what it was called, this is my first post in a while and i am looking forward to getting more shots of wild flowers.

if it isnt honesty then itll be a garden crucifer (cabbage sp.) but someone else should be able to shed more light

not honesty but not sure what it is need KT17 looks like an escapee but will hold judgement until someone ids

Looks like a single-flowered Stock, Mathiola species but not sure which ... go back and sniff it in the evening to see if its Night-scented Stock, M. bicornis

It's not Honesty, looks a bit like aubretia - isn't it a bit early for night scented stocks - I associate them with later in the summer?

Ooops, I'd say your right - I've been looking at too many lichens and forgetting my flowers

It does look like Aubretia, but sadly there is no help in the photo showing the habit of the plant, the leaves, etc- just showing a flower isn't that helpful to get a positive ID, especially with plants like crucifers, umblels, etc.

thank you for your help, next time i will take a better pic with more of the plant and habitat.

I would be going for night scented stock but as Aesh said - a few more photos needed for a definite ID
