I'm going to have to give in with this one. Thought might be travellers joy growing through the dog rose but doesn't seem right. If anyone can put a name to these white seed heads I'd be really grateful:  Taken in October Many thanks k9 |

I don't think so, the seed heads look like a composite and it looks as though the dead stem is twined around the rose but what it is I don't know!!
Correction!!! You can see the stem of the culprit in middle background: Ragwort.
