Tree project
My daughter has to do a small project on coniferous and deciduous trees for school. We've had a look on the Royal Horticultural society pages and the Woodland Trust website but can't find anything of any use to a 10 year old in that respect. Does anyone know of any good websites for something like this please?

Hi Madelinew,
Did you look at the Woodland Trust's "Nature detectives" downloads pages?

If the project includes identification of trees, there are some useful colour downloads of twigs, leaves, tree shapes etc. etc., all designed with children in mind. (There's also a section that allows children to upload images etc., and create their own pages in a similar style)

Wonderful - thanks to you both. Naturally, the day I need the I-Spy book of trees I own, I've lost it, along with the leaf identifier I got from the Woodland Trust a couple of years ago.
