| | | Ferns id Fern 1 July) HI (Fern 2 July)- can anyone put names to these three ferns for me, taken as listed last year.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
The third one was found living in a drainage system after a fern lover had said he thought he had seen a rare one there (3,3a,3b,3c). Any help would be appreciated. Fern 3 October Fern 3a Fern 3b Fern 3c (Fern 3, 3a,3b, 3c same fern)Thanks k9 |

| | | Re: Ferns id Hi k9
Fern 1 looks like young Royal Fern growth, 2 like Common Polypody and 3 is Harts Tongue Fern.
Someone will be along shortly to confirm. |

| | | Re: Ferns id I agree with Common Polypody for 2, and Heart's Tongue Fern for 3. I don't think 1 is a fern at all - the leaves are coming off at right angles to the stem and the veining etc. just doesn't look right for pinnules.
Regards
Mike.
