3 a snowflake....(much smaller flowers and fewer of them too)
that was found in a random hedge

| | | Re: Squill ID and snowflakes :) I was told the way to identify between the species is that spring snowflake only has one or 2 flowerheads on one stalk and is a short plant 
Whereas the summer snowflake is a taller plant altogether and depending on its age can have 2 or more flowerheads on one stalk. 
I wouldn't go with the flowering times though for identifications because this year the summer snowflake was out before the spring  But the summer has lasted longer than the spring so that could help in future |
