Grows from bulbs, smells like garlic - ID

These are growing in the garden and grow from bulbs. The leaves smell a bit like garlic. I first though wild garlic, but it doesn't seem to match.

Anyone got any suggestions of what else it could be?

Possibly Rose Garlic - Allium roseum.

looks more like Allium triquetrum to me. three cornered leek

Look a bit like the Hairy Garlic (Allium subhirsutum) that I have in my garden - always grows in a tangled mess like that. If it is the edges of the leaves should be hairy and it will produce umbels of white flowers.

The 'tangled mess' describes it perfectly, and it also has hairy leaves, so I think this is the most likely option.

I'll wait for the flowers and then post those for a final confirmation, but it seems to match Hairy Garlic (Allium subhirsutum)
