Question [ID] Stalky things please!
Afternoon all!

This they're unidentified stalky things... see, not just weed seedlings!

Bright red, budded
About 6ins long

A grass species about 4ins tall
...with a sturdy red stem becoming a green blade of grass?

Any assistance appreciated!

The first one looks like some sort of fruit cane or briar, are there any mature ones around. The grass is possibly Perrenial Ryegrass, if the leaf is folded in the stem. It looks quite rolled, but not easy to see. Is in the proximity of productive grass?
