Help needed with mystery conifer!
I was hoping for some advice on the ID of this young tree, a conifer sapling of some kind that's presumably seeded itself in an urban park (there were actually two specimens of the same species within a few yards of one another, but no sign of any parent trees nearby...)

As I've said before, conifer identification is not my strong point () so all suggestions will be very gratefully received

I'm not actually sure to be honest but it could be a thrown out Christmas tree if its just appeared in your urban park

It looks like one of the hemlock spruce species to me but I wouldn't like to say which.
