| | | Garden Plant IDs from 2 years ago I did my work experience in a garden centre a few years back and I took these photos. They have been lingering in my album for a while and I was wondering they are.
1) petunia?
2) Bellis sp.?
(its not hottentot fig by the way )
3) I actually intended to take the photo of the fly but the flower was in focus as well. An ID on the fly would also be appreciated.
4) I know this is probably a long shot but I took this photo of the inside of a flower to look at the macro detail inside. I have no idea whatsoever. Consider it a challenge for Tiggrx and Aeshna |

| | | Re: Garden Plant IDs from 2 years ago Well, the only help I can personally offer (not a lot, I guess...) is to say you're definitely right about No. 1 It's a Petunia ( Petunia x hybrida), a very common garden plant
As for the others, I'm afraid I've absolutely no idea, other than to say that all three of them look to be members of the daisy family |

| | | Re: Garden Plant IDs from 2 years ago thanks everyone. I knew you would get that macro one Tiggrx, It was a pink flower so opium poppy is quite likely from what I remember | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
