2 for id please

1 the flower was closed up so I didnt bother with a close up..





2 very spiky and again i can almost place this but ive forgotten....

2. is Wild Madder (Rubia peregrina)

1) looks like wild turnip due to the compact flower clusters, flowering time and the shape of the leaf coming off the stem to the side of the flower. the basal leaves of crucifers are usually different to those on the stem.

2) the broader, shiny leaves are reminding me of woodruff but then again due to the environment. its madder.

I actually edited my post because I put cleavers at first and I was searching BWS for all bedstraw family. I searched for dodder but the leaves were wrong and I knew I had forgot a species ending in "er" and I saw Tiggrx's post and thought "oh yes thats it"
