they aren't the best of photos but which do you think is best?
2 a garden crocus I think  but im not sure about species...

| | | Re: snowflake + crocus ids The Snowflake looks a bit odd - I would have said it looks more like Leucojum aestivum ssp. pulchellum than L. vernum, but am not really sure - not a typical looking specimen...
The Crocus is the hybrid Crocus chrysanthus x biflorus. |

half of these snowflake flowers looked as though they were about to die.....and I read that the flowering time for Leucojum aestivum subsp. pulchellum was March-May...
and does the crocus have an english name or not?
