I took all of these photos in a meadow near the RSPB Portmore Lough Nature Reserve in July 2007. Help with IDs would be very much appreciated.

1 is a flax - either pale or cultivated but probably the former
4 is dotted loosestrife

1. Flax (Linum usitatissimum)
2. Barley (Hordeum sp. - probably H. distichon)
3. Corn Marigold (Chrysanthemum segetum)

agreed with all above - dotted loosestrife can be discounted because of the leaves and the lack of the orange centre to the flower. |
