Possibly someone will be able to give you an id from a photograph of the buds but to help the rest of us could you possibly give some idea of scale, position, if there any leaves, etc? |

I don't think I can remember much about it at all - it was smallish - but that's probably no help? I think it was sitting amongst rhododendrons in Temple Newsam gardens - if that's any use?
